The author's fiction primarily falls within the dark fantasy and horror genre. Tunku Halim bin Tunku Abdullah (born 1964) is a Malaysian novelist, short story, non-fiction writer and lawyer. The Arabic-derived word "bin" or "binti"/"binte", if used, means 'son of' or 'daughter of', respectively. The name Tunku Abdullah is a patronymic, and the person should be referred to by the given name, Halim. In this Malay name, there is no family name.
